Peers for Positive Change is a grassroots nonprofit organized to reduce stigma, promote HIV/AIDS awareness and provide prevention education. We support and advocate for newly diagnosed and those affected by isolation and stigma knowing that:

“Every new infection is a failure in prevention”

We plan to accomplish this by building relationships with the community, partnering with other organizations, embracing diversity, advocating for human rights and change and insuring the integrity of our mission statement. The stigma of HIV slows down the messages of prevention, outreach and education. By focusing on fighting stigma, we are hoping to break through these barriers to where testing becomes a common and acceptable part of life.
